In addition to the accolades for the company's big features "Bat FXXX: Dark Night" and "Bonny & Clide" in multiple categories, "Black Shack, Vol. 1" picked up a nod as Best Interracial Release of the Year.
Bluebird CEO and director Nicholas Steele, who was nominated for Director of the Year – Individual Project for his work on "Bat FXXX: Dark Night," said, “We’re proud to be able to release new titles every week for our fans to enjoy, and it’s an honor to have the outstanding quality of our product recognized by the industry.”
Bluebird's U.S. contract girl Madelyn Marie earned a Female Performer of the Year nomination while Glambird Natasha Marley will compete in that award’s foreign category as well as being a contender for her Acting Performance in "Bonny & Clide." In addition to a slew of technical achievements, Bluebird Films has been nominated both as Studio of the Year in addition to Feature Studio of the Year.
The 2011 XBIZ Awards Show is scheduled for Feb. 9, 2011, at the legendary Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
