Mitchell Spinelli launched Canoga Park, California-based Acid Rain in January of 2004. The son of director Anthony Spinelli, Spinelli created the studio Acid Rain after working more than 20 years in the adult industry.
Acid Rain specializes in gonzo, and some of the studio's releases include "Couch Candy" (starring Sasha Grey) and the blow-job series “To My Balls.”
In 2008, Spinelli launched Grindhouse, the reality label to coincide with his banner company and production entity, Acid Rain Productions.
