The service, which is open to the public and scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. at the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City, is being hosted by several of Leslie's friends and colleagues.
It will include an introduction and welcome by Evil Angel general manager Christian Mann, a video and music presentation and an open microphone for those who wish to share personal memories of the iconic director and actor. There will also be reflections from several of his friends, including Joey Silvera, Jules Jordan, John Stagliano, Paul Thomas, Richard Pacheco, Kevin Moore and Paul Fishbein.
"Fans, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, or anyone who was inspired by John is invited to attend," Jules Jordan said.
"A Celebration of Life" is being dedicated to Leslie's beloved wife Kathleen.
The service will be held in the Starlight Room at the hotel located at 12825 Ventura Blvd., just east of Coldwater Canyon Ave.
Leslie had a history with the Sportsmen's Lodge, staying there frequently when he would travel to L.A. He passed away on Dec. 5 at his home in Mill Valley, Calif., at the age of 65.

"Hopefully, we'll be able to show a side of John that some people didn't see," Jordan said. "That he was a painter, a musician and just an all-around artist. It will be a tribute to his life."
