"I created the initial outline for the book July of 2009 in the form of a website and blog, which was and still is GettingIntoPorn.com and GettingIntoPorn.blogspot.com," Foster said.
"As the website, and especially the attached blog grew over time, I realized that compiling the information into a quick and easy to read handbook was a good idea, so October of this year I decided to do so."
Foster said the guide handbook offers what she feels are the five most important chapters of the book for free on GettingIntoPorn.com.
As for the reason why, she said, "I feel the best gift you can give in life is knowledge. When I first entered the adult entertainment industry a few very kind people really took the time clue me in as to what was what, so I feel the obligation to do the same, especially when it comes to such information as chapter three — Your Pre-Porn Situation and chapter nine — Health Issues and STDs."
Foster said that she understands many people in the industry may question her experience because she's only been in the industry for a few years, but she believes she has the proper qualifications.
"Considering that I've worked in the adult industry itself for close to a decade and educated myself as much as possibly prior to entering the porn arena, I feel I have a pretty clear picture," she said.
"This book as a whole will make many newbies to the industry and veterans within the industry's lives much easier. It gives a concise outline as to what to expect, how to properly prepare, and what is expected once a working porn talent."
"Getting Into Porn — The Handbook" can currently be purchased through www.Amazon.com in both electronic format (for your Kindle or Ipad) or in paperback. By mid-December the book will be available through local book chains such as Borders and Barnes & Noble.
