Eldorado’s donation resulted in approximately 5,493 meals for hungry families, the company said.
“It feels good to make a difference in peoples’ lives,” said Larry Garland, Eldorado founder and CEO. “This is a worthy and important cause. The Eldorado team is proud to be involved with the Community Food Share and the fine work they’ve been doing in Colorado for the last 30 years.”
According to reports, Colorado has an estimated 50,000 people living at 130 percent of poverty or $27,500 per year for a family of four.
Community Food Share, the food bank for Boulder and Broomfield Counties, has been providing service to the community since 1981.
