In the pair of suits, Elegant Angel through an anti-piracy firm is suing 266 for allegedly downloading "Anal Fanatic Vol. 1" and 240 for "Let Me Jerk You 2." Both movies have received U.S. Copyright registration numbers.
It's the fourth and fifth suit brought forth by the Chatsworth, Calif.-based company relative to BitTorrent theft of its content and was filed by DigiProtect, a German anti-piracy firm that has never before filed suit in the U.S.
DigiProtect has represented other adult companies fighting peer-to-peer piracy, but up to now only on the European continent. The Frankfurt-based company in the past has represented Hustler Europe and Evil Angel.
In the suits, DigiProtect is asking the U.S. District Court in New York to order the identities of the John Doe defendants from scores of Internet service providers. The suit said the Does used public BitTorrent trackers such as eDonkey to obtain the movies.
