Close to 300 people converged on the Le Meridian RA Beach Hotel and Spa in El Vendrell on the Costa Daurada for The Barcelona Summit, which featured seminars, XBIZ.net-sponsored Speed Networking sessions, speaking panels, as well as complimentary meals to be shared amongst attendees from around the globe.
The XBIZ.net Speed Networking session offered guests an opportunity to meet their international colleagues in rapid one-on-one sittings. XBIZ President and Publisher Alec Helmy was on hand to offer a special introduction to XBIZ.net, the No. 1 social network for adult professionals.
Helmy also participated in the State of the Industry panel that followed, along with Connor from Ynot, Michel from Sureflix/Maleflixxx and Thommy from Momo.net.ch, among others.
The discussion was dominated by the topic of tube sites and how to best target and sell content/products to today's consumers, who have become accustomed to free online entertainment.
Additionally, the discussion covered tube sites and their impact on the industry, as well as the growth of various market segments, including live cam and dating.
The Barcelona Summit also included a Human Resources panel moderated by X Industry Jobs, and a design demo by Dickmans Design.
"Our goal was to share insights on what is crucial for high performance creative services to be delivered," CEO Bruno Dickman said. "We talked about whats going on in adult and mainstream, and explained our 10 online performance strategies methodology. We also gave some suggestions on how companies could better select a design company to work with, how when to do it themselves."
The Barcelona Summit 2010 was sponsored by Adult Webmaster Empire, PussyCash, PrivateCash, FirstMobileCash, CommerceGate and TheAdultCompany.eu, among others.
