TMZ has reported that Montag and estranged husband Spencer Pratt (who reportedly engineered the original deal) have stopped negotiating with Vivid Entertainment, telling Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch they're no longer interested.
In a letter to Hirsch, Pratt said, "Heidi's made it very clear that she is not interested in releasing any tapes" ... adding, "It looks like she pulled the kill switch," TMZ said.
The letter went on to say, "Spencer's not interested in further destroying their relationship by pursuing an avenue she's so vehemently against."
The gossip site also reported that Pratt’s representative told Hirsch that Pratt "thought $5 million would be enough to convince her, but now [Heidi] is saying she'll bring out the legal team if he persists."
Recent reports told of different versions of the phantom sex tape that included Montag with Pratt, an alleged girl/girl tape with Playboy Playmate Karissa Shannon and even a threesome including Pratt.
