iP4Play Reports Successful Launch of iPhone 4 Video Chat

LOS ANGELES – Adult live video chat provider iP4Play reported that it is closing in on its 1000th paid show and has registered more than 100,000 unique visitors in the five days since it began its Apple iPhone4 FaceTime service.

The company said history was made on Aug. 13 as the first paid FaceTime adult video call took place. A client from the U.S. ordered a 10-minute show with adult star Brees Kelly but hung up after just more than five minutes.

Since that session, the company said the service has blossomed worldwide.

“Subscribers have generally opted for the ‘quick-draw McGraw’ five-minute session and 93 percent of paid subscribers are male. While the majority of traffic generated is domestically based, a large number of users are coming from China. Other international hotspots include Ireland, Germany, Italy, Brazil and Israel,” the company reported.

The company also announced that it will be adding “Porn Star Wednesday” where users will be able to get one-on-one face time with some of the most popular talent in adult.

In addition, iP4Play will promote five-minute calls through its twitter page (@ip4play) and will release several derivative sites targeting niche adult markets including gay and mature.

The company also revealed that it is in “high-level discussions and negotiations with some larger, more mainstream adult entertainment providers who have not shared the success that iP4Play has in piercing Apple’s non-porn friendly walled garden ecosystem.”

“It is iP4Play’s hope that these partnerships will enable us to bring even more hot talent to an even greater and service-demanding market base,” the company said.
