Digital Playground Taps Harvey Kaplan to Lead Internet Biz Dev

VAN NUYS, Calif. – Leading adult film studio Digital Playground announced today the addition of Harvey Kaplan as the head of its Internet business development team.

The company said Kaplan has extensive experience in the adult entertainment industries, including website management, brand strategy implementation and digital media content distribution.

Digital Playground added, "Kaplan’s unique approach to affiliate marketing, and his innovative ideas for consumer acquisition and retention, make him a perfect fit for the fast paced, high powered position.”

Kaplan will be responsible for all affiliate programs such a DigitalPlaygroundCash and mobile content as well as online business development.

The executive is a 12 year veteran with experience in digital marketing and promotions, corporate alliances/partnerships, online marketing communications, mobile advertising, strategic media buying, sales strategy, public affairs and social engineering knowledge.

Digital Playground noted that Kaplan created and implemented local and national marketing campaigns for previous employers where he built brand awareness that drove sales, increased search engine ranking in the online/ mobile world and generated advertising revenue.

Kaplan explained why he chose to join the studio.

"This is one of the few companies I interviewed with in the market that is growing by leaps and bounds when so many other companies are cutting back or closing up shop." Digital Playground founder and director Joone said he is thrilled to have Kaplan on board. "We have been looking high and low for the right person to lead our Internet development department and Harvey is a perfect fit.
