"I put the word out to my coworkers, and the response has been overwhelming,” said Jackie White, CalExotics vice president of sales. “The only one who didn't turn in a bra was Al Bloom, who said he still needed the support."
CalExotics’ efforts to fight breast cancer also include donating profits.
"The sale of the popular Papillon Massager has been quietly raising thousands of dollars for Living Beyond Breast Cancer,” said Susan Colvin, president and founder of CalExotics. "We support all efforts to raise money for this worthy cause, and I salute Athena's for putting this together.”
The company said it would be carrying out a fundraiser in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in the near future.
To donate a bra to the cause, send it along with a minimum $5 donation to: Athena’s Home Novelties, 640 Winter St., Woonsocket, RI 02895.
