The project was produced and directed by Lindau from an improvised script. Andrews stars along a cast that includes a collage of the who’s who on the New York City performing arts scene.
“This film was very exciting for me to be a part of not only to nurture the creative process from inception to filming with Gabrielle, but it was the first mainstream project in front of the cameras that I was able to do since my retirement and film school,” Andrews said.
Other cast members include Lori Michaels, a performer on the LGBT circuit and rumored girlfriend of “Real Housewives” Danielle Staub.
Lindau sought out a diverse cast of actors of different ethnicities, nationalities and sexual preferences as a means to further defy stereotypes within the performing arts.
The premiere screening will be held at Integrated Studios from 7-9:30 p.m.
