CommerceGate Gears Up for the AVN Show

BARCELONA — CommerceGate is gearing up to attend the AVN Show in Hollywood, Fla., Aug. 5-8.

The company will be meeting with industry professionals and clients and will be sponsoring the Meet Market event taking place in the Atlantic Ballroom of the Westin Diplomat Hotel on Aug. 5, from 5-7 p.m. The Meet Market will give all attendees a chance to meet, network and get more information on CommerceGate’s many new developments.

One of these developments includes the company's continued integration of Webbilling, a solution that gives clients E.U. Direct Debit in Germany, Austria, The Netherlands, U.K .and Spain.

CommerceGate says that with only 23 percent of European shoppers owning a credit card, a huge segment of the consumer population is unable to process via traditional Visa or MasterCard transactions. Adding this direct debit option to any merchant’s payment lineup can increase European traffic up to five times over.

The CommerceGate team invites everyone out to its Meet Market for a cocktail and to learn more about the E.U. direct debit option as well as all of the value added services of the CommerceGate platform.

In addition, CommerceGate’s senior vice president of sales Cathy Beardsley will appear as a panelist for the Alternative Billing Strategies and Living with Visa seminars taking place from 1-2 p.m. and 2-3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 7.

“We are looking forward to seeing what this new AVN show will hold,” said Cathy Beardsley, senior vice president of CommerceGate. “Our Direct Debit option is just one of the features we offer that can help webmasters increase their revenue and offer additional security in this ever-changing market. We hope you will stop by our table at the Meet Market on Thursday to enjoy a drink – or two – on us!”
