The show's website gives the following synopsis for host John Stossel’s "Sex and the Law" episode: "America is a little more squeamish about sex than many other countries. In Japan and Europe, companies run steamy ads on television without any fuss. But in America, one ‘costume malfunction’ at the Super Bowl and we're still talking about it six years later.
"And when it comes to kids and sex, we have lots of laws meant to protect kids. But do they? Or do they cause more harm than good? When a Texas high school senior had sex with his freshman girlfriend, the state of Texas called it rape and put him on the Sex Offender registry, along with rapists and child molesters.
"And if you're gay, you can serve in the American military ... as long as you don't tell anyone you're gay. That’s the rule. Should it be? And what about porn? One man recently faced jail time for making videos we can’t even describe to you. Is that right? When it comes to sex and America, we have lots of rules ... but should we?"
