NETbilling Launches iPhone App

VALENCIA, Calif. — NETbilling has launched its Virtual Terminal App, giving clients the ability to process credit cards through the NETbilling payment gateway directly from an iPhone or iPad.

NETbilling President Mitch Farber told XBIZ that the free app is available to all clients and will process transactions from anywhere with an Internet connection, in any currency, for any card type, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diner’s Club and JCB.

Merchants have the opportunity to process credit cards without terminals and in-person. Farber said the iPhone app development was due to customer needs.

"We have many merchants who sell products and services online as well as in a retail environment," Farber said. "We wanted to be able to allow our merchants to easily process credit cards on the go and in real time. The iPhone mobile platform was the perfect way for us to be able to offer this ability without any added cost to our valued clients."

NETbilling clients can configure the application by visiting NETbilling.com/iphone.

NETbilling supports almost all major domestic processing platforms, as well as multiple offshore banks. They operate an in-house 24/7 call center as well to assist merchants with inbound and outbound customer inquiries and ordering campaigns.

Since 1998, NETbilling has provided processing and call center services to thousands of merchants worldwide in the adult, mainstream and retail industries, processing millions of transactions monthly.
