Williams had her whole face, hands, penis and ass (in doggystyle position) molded for a signature line to be released beginning in January, Doc Johnson’s Rebecca Weinberg told XBIZ.
“We are also developing other toys that are not molds but are based on Wendy,” Weinberg said.
Williams told XBIZ it was a surreal experience and an accolade that reflects several years of hard work.
“It’s finally paying off,” Williams said. “The last couple of years have been great — I received an AVN award, this year the XBIZ Transsexual Performer of the Year award and now a novelty line.”
Weinberg said that Williams’ success is what prompted the launch of her line of toys.
“She really stood out,” Weinberg said. “Her experience, longevity, popularity and willingness to move forward and market her brand all contribute to a personality we want to represent.
“We really strive to go after the cream of the crop — the ‘it’ girl, and Wendy is definitely the ‘it’ girl of her genre. She has a following that really shows she’s on top of her game.”
Williams’ fans posted messages of support while the molding process took place on Twitter, she said.
“The Twitter response was amazing,” Williams said. “We posted lots of live photos of the event that got tons of comments.”
Williams will play a major role in designing her products and their packaging and so far has pink, bedazzled characteristics in mind.
“Everything will be extremely personalized,” she said. “The photos on the packaging will vary from product to product instead of them all having the same one — all kinds of fun things!”
