“This type of content is very hot at the moment, and several of our top webmasters lobbied us to create a mobile ex-girlfriend site, so they’d have one to promote that they knew was legally safe while maintaining that risqué look and feel,” said Lea Busick, director of marketing for TopBucks Mobile.
The company said the scenes are shot in a wide variety of locations to appear like they’re homemade amateur productions.
POV and self-shot angles are used to heighten the believability.
Busick added that in researching the existing market, it was clear that “in this area of content, surfers respond better to something that has that homemade look than material that is clearly professionally produced.”
“It can be counterintuitive for people accustomed to shooting higher end, professional material to intentionally shoot content that looks amateurish, or makes them seem less masterful with their equipment, but without that ‘real people’ appeal, this kind of site just isn’t going to resonate with its target audience,” Busick said. “We were shooting for a look in this content that is amateurish but compelling, and I think we nailed it.”
Webmasters can earn via PPS and revenue share options with payouts ranging as high as $25 per signup on a $1 trial, and 60 percent on the revenue share program.
The company said the program also offers a wide variety of sales tools, including white label options, mobile redirect scripts, custom portal pages, RSS feeds and free promotional content.
