The CEO will deliver the opening keynote address at the WWDC on Monday, June 7, at 10 a.m. PDT., it was announced Monday.
The event, historically held in Moscone West in San Francisco, will draw about 5,000 developers and include sessions on application frameworks, Internet and web, graphics and media, developer tools and the core of Apple's OS.
Last year Jobs was out on medical leave and was unable to give the WWDC address.
