DavidNudesCash Debuts New iPad Site

PHOENIX — Nude art affiliate program DavidNudesCash.com has released its new iPad-optimized site, DavidNudesiPad.com.

The company says the site features the same nude art photography and video that is found on David-Nudes.com but formatted specifically for the iPad.

"Designing a website to function on a fixed screen size with a touch interface requires a completely new layout," said David Weisenbarger, photographer and co-owner of the David-Nudes brand. "Buttons need to be bigger so you can easily touch them to navigate. The initial page view needs to fit on the landscape orientation of the iPad without any breaks, so that the visitor gets a nice view of our content and navigation in one screen without the need to scroll. All the graphics and page elements needed to be scaled back to fit the iPad screen in both landscape and portrait orientation."

Since the iPad product famously does not support Flash video, Weisenbarger says he had to get creative in order to produce a website that would be attractive to fans who are used to Flash-rich online interfaces.

"Interaction and animation are still critical to engage the initial visitor, so I had to find a JavaScript solution that gives some feeling of animation and interaction, but works well with touch," Weisenbarger said. "In other words, we had to forget about mouse-over interactions as there is no way to mouse-over in a touch interface. So, JQuery was chosen as the framework for a new set of interactive gallery elements, and all JavaScript works in Safari and current versions of Web Kit on the iPad."

The company adds the new DavidNudesiPad.com gives affiliates with softcore or nude art traffic an ideal way to increase their income. Affiliates with adult traffic can earn revenue for promoting the content of David-Nudes.com but now affiliates can also benefit from sending their iPad traffic to iPad-optimized DavidNudesiPad.com.

Registered affiliates earn recurring commissions for every sale, and the company says payouts are handled by trusted industry billing company CCBill.com.
