The event raised more than 25,000 Rays — the virtual world’s currency — with some members upgrading to VIP status for extra time with Alexis and the chance to have one-on-one sex sessions. Some VIP members forked over double to spend 10 minutes alone with the starlet.
"I had such an amazing time during the premiere of my movie, 'No Love Lost,'" Alexis said. "So many fans and players came out to see me! We partied for hours, and I did a lot of one-on-one cam sessions with fans! This world is so amazing, and I'm so excited to continue being a member and hopefully do more projects with Utherverse."
Alexis mingled with guests before and after the premiere, answering questions and interacting with her fans, the company said. Digital Playground not only introduced its newest contract star and her latest feature release to consumers around the world but also made 75 percent lifetime revenue for every upgraded user.
"This event was a huge success and we at Utherverse are pleased to be pioneering a brand new way for companies to premiere films, promote performers and market their brands to more than 5 million consumers in the virtual space," Utherverse Digital CEO Brian Shuster said. "Digital Playground is only the beginning — we have interest from several adult studios and companies looking for similar 3D virtual events. Stay tuned!"
As the creator of more than 15,000 3D virtual worlds, Utherverse’s software allowed Digital Playground to create a virtual world where fans around the globe can talk, hang out and even touch their favorite porn stars using customized avatars.
“Having a virtual world like this puts a company on the forefront of new technology,” Shuster said. “This kind of 3D interaction makes for a one-of-a-kind fan experience, which leads to lifetime member loyalty — and there’s nothing more valuable online than member retention.”
