The tourney, sponsored by CECash, Cold Hard Cash, DatingGold, Epoch and Mansion Productions and presented by X2K Consulting and Media Services and NETBilling, had a four-man scramble format.
The 32 golfers played on the “Babe,” one of two 18-hole courses at Pacific Palms that was designed by legendary golf architect William Francis Bell. The courses are set atop a hill facing the majestic San Gabriel Mountains.
“It was a picture-perfect day … perfect weather and no brawls,” organizer Stephen Bugbee told XBIZ.
Players gathered at the XBIZ LA at the Sofitel in Hollywood and were treated to continental breakfast and lunch. After golf, the players gathered for an awards ceremony and happy hour.
The winning four-man team consisted of Diabolic’s David, Greg, Greg and Jonathan.
Tim Siner of Video Secrets was winner of the “Closest to the Pin” contest and Mitch from NETBilling won the putting contest.
Bugbee said the next Webmaster Golf Tournament is scheduled for April 7 in conjunction with The Phoenix Forum.
