LOS ANGELES — Sasha Grey has been named one of the most desirable women of 2010 in men’s interest website AskMen.com’s annual “Top 99 Women of 2010” poll.
Grey ranked number 97 with an average score of 73.6 among voters and AskMen staff. The six-week voting period tabulated 6 million responses, according to the website. Much of the criteria was based on what a modern man looks for in his ideal companion.
“The Top 99 Most Desirable Women ranks the famous females who rock our world -- from stand-up comediennes and powerful businesswomen to Oscar-bound actresses and swimsuit models,” AskMen said.
"It's a pleasure to be considered this year, along with Conan O'Brien... I mean... among so many talented individuals. It feels unbelievably great to be recognized for my achievements this past year, thank you!," Grey said.
Grey received kudos from AskMen for improvising her lines for her "regular acting" gig in Steven Soderbergh's “The Girlfriend Experience,” modeling for American Apparel, her plans to make a documentary about the three years since her 18th birthday, starting her own industrial music group, “Atelecine,” and representing herself in the adult industry through her L.A. Factory Girls agency.
