HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — X-Play is holding an open casting call for female talent for its new adult parody, "Not Charlie’s Angels XXX."
Newbies as well as star performers are welcome to audition at the X-Play offices beginning Monday. Actors will read for the parts that were made famous by Kate Jackson, Jaclyn Smith and Farrah Fawcett, according to the company.
In addition to the three angels, other female talent will also be considered for various parts of villains, prostitutes and other roles based on the original "Charlie’s Angels" TV show that ran during the 1970s.
“We’re not doing the Drew Berrymore version but rather the old-school feathered-hair version that was such a big hit on television three decades ago,” said the movie’s co-producer Jeff Mullen.
X-Play said it may use three new girls for the lead roles or go with established stars. The slate is clean right now and co-producer Scott David encourages everybody to see the producers.
“Come to our office and read in a very relaxed setting. We need to see if you’re hot and can act. Sorry, but photos alone simply will not do.”
Auditions will be held during the following dates and hours:
Monday, JAN.18, 1-6 p.m.
Tuesday, JAN.19, 1-6 p.m.
Wednesday - no auditions
Thursday, JAN. 21, 1-6 p.m.
Talent with and without agents are welcome. Email Jeff@allmediaplay.com for location.
