The free, two-day conference and trade show concentrates on the needs and concerns of affiliate marketers. In its second year, the show includes two days of training, general and targeted sessions, as well as an exhibit hall.
Numerous companies that are connected to the online adult business plan to attend, including CommerceGate, Webbilling and Got Web Host, among others.
Bjorn Skarlen, CEO of CommerceGate, said that he’s excited to pitch the company’s unique processing model where clients can elect bundled payment processing solutions.
"This convention will offer a great venue for us to show Affiliates and online merchants why the flexibility and security of CommerceGate is so valuable and beneficial for companies interested in maximizing their revenue," Skarlen said.
Another processor, Webbilling, also hopes to look for new customers.
“I love to attend affiliate shows because there are two opportunities to raise awareness for the potential the Webbilling solutions provide: by speaking directly to merchants attending the show and also in educating affiliates in what to consider when choosing a sponsor,” said Ines Petersen, Webbilling’s global operations director.
It’s the first year Got Web Host execs will attend the show.
"We have heard nothing but good things about Affiliate Convention and decided that this was an event that we should attend,” Got Web Host’s Lloyd Brown said. “As one of our target demographics is affiliates, we decided that sponsoring the Affiliate Bash would be a great way to give back to those that have supported us for so many years."
The Affiliate Bash will take place on Thursday at the Aqua Lounge in Beverly Hills.
Darren Blatt, of D-Money Productions and assistant Affiliate Bash organizer, said the event will be “extremely classy with a legendary concert performance by Shock G and DJ Fuze, both original Digital Underground members.”
“We also have a surprise guest performing with them,” he said.
