ABC News Interviews Janine Lindemulder

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Adult performer Janine Lindemulder’s fued with Hollywood star Sandra Bullock received widespread mainstream attention on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”

The popular daily news program interviewed Lindemulder to get her side in her ongoing custody battle with Bullock. The feud started when Bullock married stuntman Jesse James. James had fathered a child with Lindemulder, and Bullock wants to claim sole custody of the child from the adult star.

“What would give her the right to take away my daughter?” she said. “This is my daughter. I’m the best mother I can be. I’ve absolutely made horrific choices in the past.”

The ABC News story explored Bullock’s claims against Lindemulder, including the movie’s stars contention that Lindemulder often falls asleep while her child is at home due to drug use.

“I’ve had my share of drugs,” she said. “But there’s a huge portion of my life, a 10-year span, where I didn’t need it.”

In a letter written to Judge Thomas Coffin, who will decide the case, Bullock also points out that both Lindemulder and her new husband are both convicted felons. In addition, Bullock also contends that Lindemulder accused the her of wanting her child because she can’t have children.

Lindemulder denied ever saying that, and Bullock has never said she was infertile. She has, however, said that she never wanted children, and that if she changed her mind, she would pursue adoption if she was too old to bear children. Bullock is 40.

“I haven't had children biologically,” she said “I had shut that off. Then I met Jesse [James], and it turned on again. I was like, 'Oh, it's that feeling.'"

Lindemulder has appeared in more than 100 adult titles. A court order has barred her from the adult industry. She’s now pursuing a career as a tattoo artist.
