Playgirl Launches Mobile Site

SAN DIEGO — Playgirl has launched PlaygirlMobile.com, an integrated site that offers pay-per-download mobile video clips and live video chat.

“Playgirl fans have always been style leaders and trendsetters,” Playgirl spokesperson Vincent Stevens said. “As such, they are avid users of the latest mobile communications technology. Now they can interact with Playgirl’s standard-setting adult content wherever they are, whenever that feeling hits. We’ve always had a reputation of ‘delivering the heat,’ now we’re delivering it in the hottest, most advanced format possible.”

Playgirl has partnered with PureiPorn to use its new 3G adult video download service QuickiClips.

“We think it’s high time for some quality mobile adult content for those who admire the male physique,” said Lolly Popova, vice president of PureiPorn. “We’re sure visitors will enjoy the one-click purchasing, instead of the typical subscriptions and automatic rebilling.”

Popova describes the service as following Apple’s iTunes pay-per-download business model.

After purchasing a Playgirl video clip, users can stream the video on their 3G mobile devices and sync the video via their PC.

Live video chat and phone sex lines also are available at PlaygirlMobile.com, allowing users to chat one-on-one with male models on their mobile device.

PureiPorn launched QuickiClips in June. The site cts simultaneously as an iTunes-style portal where fans can buy content, a marketplace where producers can sell their wares, and an upsell to be added to the company's existing mobile site, PureiPorn.
