The event will take place Sept. 16 at Good Vibrations’ Polk Street store, and will act as a DVD pre-release party for “Glamazons,” a film produced by Heartcore Films and scheduled for a Sept. 28 release.
Flores’ vagina was molded and released as part of Topco’s Wildfire Celebrity Series in April, and Topco’s Desiree Duffie, who acts as director of marketing and public relations for the company, said the exhibit is devoted to the voluptuous CyberSkin mold.
The company hosted the first event showcasing Flores’ product in L.A. several months ago.
“The first show here in Los Angeles was a hit, thanks in part to the colorful nature of our city's inhabitants," Duffie said. "I can only imagine an art show this provocative in nature will be even better received in San Francisco. Topco Sales employs so many artists and creative-minded individuals; we are all excited to see what the five new artists bring to the table at this second exhibit.”
Curator Carlos Batts said this show will feature several new local artists, and attendees can look forward to some special exhibits devoted to BBW appreciation.
“BBW fans are going to think they've died and gone to heaven,” Batts said. “We have all eight of the artists that participated in the first exhibit at La Luz de Jesus in May, and we've added five new local artists from the San Francisco area.”
Artists scheduled to include Axis, Carlos Batts, COOP, Jim Mahfood, Kime Buzzelli, Kozy, Dan, and Small Paul — all of which participated in the L.A. show. Brian Donnelly, Stephan Kasner, Zak Smith, Dr. Carol Queen Ph.D and Dr. Robert M. Lawrence have been added to the San Francisco lineup.
The event will take place from 5-7 p.m. at 1620 Polk St. Admission is free and open to the public.
