Pacific Sun, Braincash Form Web Partnership

MONTREAL — All-male studio Pacific Sun Entertainment has joined with affiliate program Braincash to build a series of niche paysites as well as tout its retail and VOD websites.

The partnership allows Braincash to expand its reach into the gay adult market as well offer more choice in such genres as bears, muscle and twinks.

"This is a huge step to have a partner like Pacific Sun," said Braincash Project Manager Pat C. "Their content will help us bring a new dimension to our gay program."

The deal covers a series of as-yet-unnamed paysites built by Braincash with content provided by PacSun.

Promo efforts on both sides will encompass PacSun's retail site GayMagix.com as well as a pair of existing VOD websites: PacificSun.tv and PacificSunVOD.tv.

"This partnership is a great fit for us. This is our entry into the lucrative area of subscription fee-based membership sites," said PacSun CEO Pritam Sinha.

"Also, this is part of our expansion into new media. We are very excited to be able to provide Braincash with our high-quality hardcore gay content."

Michael LaBarbera, PacSun’s director of production and marketing, told XBIZ the studio has been "aggressive" in marketing its content over the past year.

"This deal with Braincash is an expansion of those efforts and another way of making our product as visible and available as possible to as many markets as possible," he said.

"We hope that this calls attention to gay content sites and straight content sites looking to expand into the gay market that PacSun has quality content available."
