MaleServe.tv Launches New Gay Adult Portal, Video Engine

NEW YORK — Pay-per-minute VOD gay portal MaleServe.tv has launched.

Online Development LLC is behind the new company. Bruce Weiner heads up information technology for Online Developments, and he said that MaleServe.tv aims to supply both Mac and PC users with DVD-quality movies online.

The videos will play through a new Flash-powered platform they're calling MaleServeTM.

“No additional software is needed, and customers pay only for what they watch," he said. "It’s a great way to watch your favorite movies without having to have a DVD in hand."

Several gay production companies are already on board, including Eurocreme, Lucas Entertainment, Raw Films, Millivres Prowler, Alpha Male Media, Pacific Sun and Video Boys.

MaleServe.tv Product Manager Hugo Harley said that he and his team want to give producers the opportunity to pre-release titles through a pay-per-view format, thereby giving them the chance to charge more money.

“In today’s market, producers are looking beyond DVD sales to monetize their content," he said. "Our VOD platform allows producers to pre-release a feature DVD, before or during the manufacturing phase. Because it is a pre-release they can set a higher per-minute price and start seeing income on their films within one month of VOD release instead of the five- to six-month window in DVD wholesale.”

In conjunction with the launch of MaleServe.tv, gay adult studio will launch Eurocreme.tv, a streaming video portal powered by the MaleServeTM engine.
