"This was a natural progression for the further growth of our company," Girlfriends Films owner Dan O'Connell told XBIZ. "We’d thought about contract girls for a long time, and we had a lot of actresses who had approached us about being contract girls.
"Our productions have become more story-driven and dialogue-intensive, which means that we have come to rely more and more on good acting talent. India, Prinzzess and RayVeness all have great acting ability and can take on different characters," O'Connell said. "We have three big movie projects coming up in the last half of the year and each project relies heavily on the kinds of charisma and talents each of these girls has in such abundance, which also includes being at the top of their game in regard to sexual performance. These girls are just fabulous and I couldn’t chance losing their availability to us."
RayVeness started her adult career in 1992, and has worked continuously since then, appearing in more than 250 titles (including comps) including 12 for Girlfriends Films starting in 2008.
Prinzzess, 21, started in the adult industry when she was 18. She describes her ethnic heritage as "Cherokee and Seminole, Honduran and Hungarian, all mildly mixed together." She has appeared in 11 titles for Girlfriends Films in 2008 and 2009.
India Summer worked as a financial manager before she started adult performing in her 30s in late 2005. She has appeared in more than 100 adult titles, including seven for Girlfriends Films released this year, and also has made mainstream appearances in "Reno 911," "Sons of Anarchy" and erotic features seen on HBO and Cinemax.
Girlfriends Films Vice President of New Project Development Megan Stokes is pleased with the signings.
"RayVeness was the first, but we very quickly signed India and Prinzzess," Stokes told XBIZ. "They're really great for us. They have a lot of sensuality and sexuality, but they're in our top tier of actresses. All of our movies are plot-based, so that's really important for us.
"We've been working with all three of them for a while now. We've built these relationships with them, and they're an ideal fit for the company."
Details of the contracts were not disclosed.
