All Worlds earned nods for "Black Balled 6: Under the Hood" and "Black Meat White Heat," while Raging Stallion was cited for "The Drifter" and "To the Last Man 1-2."
The latter film earned a 2009 XBIZ Award as GLBT Film of the Year.
The remaining Best Movie nominees are: "Best Man 1-2" (Falcon Studios), "Endgame" (Dirty Bird Pictures), "Home Invasion" (Titan Media), "Hung Country for Young Men" (Jet Set Productions) and "Paging Dr. Finger" (Hot House Entertainment).
The Grabbys additionally cite nominees in such genre categories as Best All-Sex Video, Best Comedy Video, Best Extreme Fetish Video and Best Twink Video.
Two winners will be cited as Best Performer from a nominees list that includes: Brent Corrigan, Steve Cruz, Dean Flynn, Wolf Hudson, Blake Riley, Erik Rhodes, Tyler Saint, Ricky Sinz, Scott Tanner and Diesel Washington.
Producers also will name two winners as Best Newcomer. That list includes: Scott Alexander, Tony Buff, Scott Campbell, Ty Colt, Leo Gamiani, Aden and Jordan Jaric (who are nominated together), Kyle King, Cameron Marshall, Damian Rios, Josh West and Ethan Wolfe.
The Grabbys are held annually each Memorial Day weekend in conjunction with the International Mr. Leather convention.
The late "Gay Chicago Magazine" founder Ralph Paul Gernhardt established the honors in 1992. Seven years later, what had once been a private party with magazine staff, reviewers and Grabby nominees evolved into a full-fledged awards show with hosts, presenters and live entertainment.
Stacy Bridges and Mark T. Nagel became involved with the first live show in 1999. Bridges was the "Gay Chicago" publisher and recently left the position; Nagel is the magazine's general manager.
Both currently serve as co-owners and producers of the Grabby Awards.
"I feel the Grabbys offer something unique to the industry," Nagel told XBIZ. "It's not about which movies or actors the studios want to have win, but what the public wants to see win. It will be very interesting to see everyone's reaction once this year's winners are announced."
Directrix Chi Chi LaRue and Chicago-area dragstress Honey West will emcee the show for the eleventh consecutive year. Serving as co-hosts will be performers Brent Corrigan, Blake Riley and Wolf Hudson, who was selected via internet voting. Hudson generated blog gossip by offering to teabag anyone who voted for him.
"I feel privileged that Chi Chi and Honey are returning. We can't wait to see what trouble they have planned for Blake, Brent and that teabagger, Wolf," Nagel said.
Changes this year include a 68-page color "Grabby Magazine" that also serves as a souvenir program. Additionally, festivities surrounding the show have expanded to include five official pre- and afterparties.
Last night, LaRue and talent management agency FabScout Entertainment teamed for the official Grabbys Kickoff Party. Tonight, both Titan Media and Raging Stallion Studios will take over local nightclubs for their own pre-parties.
A portion of the proceeds from the official Grabby Awards afterparty tomorrow night, as well as a Sunday morning post-show party hosted by promoter Angel Benton and CockyBoys.com exclusive performer Bobby Clark, will benefit the HIV/AIDS advocacy organization Test Positive Aware Network [TPAN].
Additionally, the opening night party raised $1000 for TPAN, Nagel said. Video-on-demand network Maleflixxx.tv will present the org with a $1000 donation during tomorrow's ceremony.
