It is a sequel to the original "Double Czech" featuring a different set of male twins — Jirka and Karel Bartok — and released nine years ago by All Worlds Video, which was sold by founder Rick Ford to Channel 1 Releasing in 2006.
"Double Czech 2009" was filmed on location in the Czech Republic. In addition to the Richter twins, featured players include Bjorn Gedda, Viktor Kana, Matthus Reinhardt and Nikolas Rezac.
"I am beyond thrilled to be releasing a sequel to 'Double Czech.' The first installment went so well, and was such a good collaboration between Rick Ford, All Worlds Video and myself, that I thought it was very important to keep the franchise under the same roof," said Higgins. "After all, brothers shouldn't be separated."
A studio rep confirmed the Richter brothers have sex together in the film (the Bartok siblings in the original film are similarly paired together).
"I thought about making a censored version that didn't include the twins engaging in any action," Higgins said. "But I could see it in their eyes. It would have been impossible to cut a censored version as [they] were so hot for each other. You know, years of pent up desires. I can only imagine."
