The deal includes the first two films produced by Hendrix: all-male hardcore feature "Friendly Force," and softcore film "Curious" starring Tristan Hamilton, and shot on location in Melbourne, Australia.
"Friendly Force" — featuring newcomer Chad Clovis with Kevin Cavalli, Brodie Newport and Logan Robbins — was produced in 2008, and initially distributed via Pacific Sun Entertainment.
That distro pact dissolved in December 2008, and Hendrix briefly explored self-distribution. "The move to Boulevard is one I only regret not doing sooner," he said.
"Chad Clovis is a star. But all of the actors in 'Friendly Force' deliver solid performances," Boulevard principal Andy Goode told XBIZ. "Jamie's script is about a police department gone wrong, and the actors believably portray sex-crazed cops in all their macho glory."
Hendrix made his erotica debut in the late '80s and was active as a performer and director for more than a decade. He left the business in 2000 to pursue a production career in mainstream entertainment, both in the U.S. and Australia.
"Friendly Force" marked his return to adult entertainment.
