NationalNet Acquires Assets of RevShare Hosting

ATLANTA — NationalNet Inc. has announced the acquisition of the servers, hardware and other assets of RevShare Hosting, which closed earlier this month.

"The acquisition was done very quickly, as RSH’s closing came about very unexpectedly," NationalNet CEO Tony Morgan told XBIZ. "Our relationship with Matt Collins, the CEO of RSH, dates back more than 15 years so he came to us first with the option and we jumped on it.

"Today’s hosting market is much, much harder than in years past so every chance we can get to lower our expense lines allows us to continue to lower our costs to our clients and they are demanding that on a daily basis."

NationalNet’s announcement said the assets will boost its product offerings and server availability. The servers acquired are described as top of the line and Intel-based.

“I am pleased to work with RevShare Hosting because the acquisition of this many servers is powerful enough to run an entire free hosting operation at such a low cost,” Morgan said. “It will allow NationalNet to resell these quality servers at prices that were unavailable to NationalNet clients at any point in the past.”

The company also said it will release a new campaign based on the newly acquired hardware to reach out to “potential customers who never before thought that they could afford the quality solution offered by [our] company.”

The acquisition also will benefit RevShare Hosting clients.

“By selling these servers and assets to NationalNet, I am able to secure the liquidity necessary for an orderly wind up the RevShare Hosting business and to ensure all webmasters in the RevShare Hosting system are paid as promised,” RevShare Hosting CEO Matt Collins said.

RevShare Hosting included a gay division called GayRevShare and was previously partnered with EuroRevenue, SlickCash and Sunny Dollars.

NationalNet recently announced its Price Match Sale that takes place every two years since 2005 and includes a free setup and first month of service free with purchase. The company was awarded the 2009 Cybersocket Award for Best Hosting Company Site.
