Adult Novelty Retailer PinkCherry Reports Record Sales

OAKVILLE, Canada — Canadian adult novelty retailer PinkCherry announced today that its sales are at a record high despite current economic difficulties.

"Many people are unable to afford a vacation this winter, but they're willing to spend $50 or so to enhance their love lives," said company CEO Daniel Freedman. "We hit a new record in December and in January, and we're on target to have our biggest month ever in February, so every month, we're hitting records."

Freedman attributed the company's record growth of over 20 percent each month since mid-2008 to "our fanatical attention to customer service. We do the best we can to get the products out the same day. Typically our biggest carrier is UPS, so our customers get a nice tracking option with their package. And unlike a lot of other adult companies, we also man a telephone line here so people can call in with their questions and concerns."

The family-operated company also has a very large selection, according to Freedman, with over 2,000 products from a number of "top brands," including Tantus, Durex, Fleshlight, Doc Johnson and We-Vibe.

Freeman said the company is launching a website geared toward other retailers, home parties and independent business owners that will feature secure online ordering, as well as "the same fanatical attention to detail."

The site is scheduled to go live by the end of March.
