SAN FRANCISCO – Raging Stallion Studios has picked Remy Delaine as its Man of the Year for 2006, the company announced today, and will kick off this weekend’s Folsom Street Fair with a Saturday night party at club Mezzanine.
The Australian-born gay adult actor has starred in Raging Stallion’s Pistol Media and Chris Ward titles, filmed throughout San Francisco, and has also appeared as the cover model for Blue Magazine.
Delaine also is the star of the soon-to-be released feature title “Arabesque,” set for a release date in December. “Arabesque" is described by Raging Stallion as its most ambitious project to date, with 12 scenes compiled in a three-disc set.
“Remy is one of the best performers we have ever seen,” Raging Stallion President Chris Ward said. “His goal is to make excellent films and his over-the-top sexual energy makes filming him very, very enjoyable work.”
Raging Stallion Director of Digital Operations Brian Randall told XBiz that Delaine will be honored as Man of the Year with a trophy at the 1,000-person invitation-only party at Mezzanine. The evening also will celebrate the fiftieth birthday of company co-founder J.D. Slater, who plans to unveil his most recent film “The Red and the Black” at the fair this weekend.
Raging Stallion is one of the primary sponsors of the Folsom Street Fair, a yearly gay and lesbian street fair that takes place in San Francisco’s South of Market, or SoMo, district.
Among his many new responsibilities as Man of the Year, Delaine will represent the company at press junkets worldwide and will continue to star in Raging Stallion films. He also will be used extensively online at Raging Stallion and Pistol Media’s affiliate program Gunzblazing.com, Randall said.
