DVDEmpire.com Announces '8 Ball Sweepstakes'

WARRENDALE, Penn. – DVDEmpire.com, a DVD video and entertainment retailer, has announced the launch of its "8 Ball Sweepstakes" taking place in September.

Customers are offered a chance to "shake the 8-ball" after they complete an online order for a chance to win immediate savings ranging from $1-5 on their current order. In addition to the instant savings, customers are also given a scratch-off game piece in their order for a chance to win a big-screen TV, Windows Media Center, iPods, PSPs and more. Everyone that plays is an instant winner of some kind.

According to DVDEmpire, for many consumers, shopping online is like shaking a 'Magic 8 Ball': You never know what you are going to get. Although consumer confidence regarding online purchases has increased over the last five years, many shoppers are still nervous about taking the plunge and giving their credit card info to a web-based business.

Once the purchase has been made, customers are sent confirmation emails every step of the way so they are aware that the company has received their order, alerted if there is a problem with their order and automatically notified when their order ships. During this process, the customer also has the option to edit their order online by adding/removing products, changing the shipping method or canceling the order altogether.

DVDEmpire.com has been selling DVDs, games, CDs and more, online for over eight years. In 2005, DVDEmpire.com was included in Internet Retailer's Top 400 Guide of the best online retail websites.
