Gay men represent a great untapped market in this corner of the digital media world, according to Hustler, which estimates that 15 million gay American consumers wield a collective buying power of $610 billion.
“Gay men, largely by virtue of their retail power, are often early adopters when it comes to cutting-edge tech,” said Michael H. Klein, LFP and Hustler TV president. “They are three times as likely as straight men to already have access to interactive TV. This market reality bodes well for HIS.”
HIS plans to deliver competitive splits and new VOD titles monthly, with a 50 percent refresh rate available in multiple package sizes and edited versions to meet any cable operator’s needs.
