Friday will join two other hosts on the show: Former football player James Terry and an Internet personality named Mr. X. "PG-13 Football" is only available online and broadcasts five days a week from 11 a.m. to noon Mondays through Fridays.
The original incarnation of the show made its debut last year with adult performer Jenny Hendrix as one of its hosts. While she was a host, Hendrix professed a love for the Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team, and according to sports blog Deadspin.com, Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio returned the fandom.
Hendrix, a 2009 XBIZ nominee for female performer of the year, has since departed "PG-13 Football," which returns to the virtual airwaves tomorrow after a 90-day absence.
Terry told XBIZ that during the flap that followed Hendrix's praise of the Jacksonville Jaguars, his show built up a strong online following – a following he hopes Friday can help retain after three months of silence.
"Adult entertainment and sports go together like peanut butter and jelly," said Terry, whose tenure in pro football includes a head-coaching stint with the Mahoning Valley Hitmen of the Eastern Indoor Football League, a fledgling league that Terry also founded. The league was set to begin play in winter 2007 but only fielded two games. Online records also show that Terry played in the Arena Football League's minor-league offshoot, af2.
After a career that includes more than 160 titles, Friday told XBIZ that she has left the industry. She said she has no online presence, no MySpace page – and no plans to reenter the industry or build a website.
Friday also said that she had made a personal move to "hardcore" Catholicism, a religion she knew – in some form, at least – growing up. She added that she has no plans to return to feature dancing or adult movies.
"This show is the only way for my fans to hear from me," Friday said.
Terry added that he and his team plan to auction off 15-minute private phone conversations with Friday during every episode. The auctions will be held on eBay.
