"The attendance was flat, even though the weather was beautiful," Adultcon Vice President Renaud West told XBIZ on Saturday. "We're pretty much the same as last time. Business is down, just like everywhere else. But I'm happy that we had talent visiting as well as exhibiting."
The exhibitors were an amalgam of talent, production companies, strip clubs and sellers of diet supplements, T-shirts, lingerie and water pipes. Talent agencies Gold Star Modeling and Galaxy Publicity had booths where their clients appeared, with Natasha Nice, Britney and Whitney Stevens and Chelsie Rae representing Gold Star and Kimber West, Sisi Sinz and Daisy Marie representing Galaxy. Performers including Brandon Iron, Kayden Kross, Olivia O'Lovely, Lori Lust, Sophie Dee and Darryl Hanah had booths as well. There was a VIP lounge accessible for a higher-priced ticket, and a DJ spun music from one corner of the room.
Among the adult industry attendees were veteran director Roy Karch; performers Marcus London, Tommy Gunn and Eric Swiss; adult personalities Tony Batman and Porno Dan Leal; director Cousin Stevie; veteran performer Ron Jeremy and agents Rob Baker and Joel Lawrence.
Adultcon 16 is scheduled for March 20-22.
