Written and directed by newcomer Eden Paige, Hunters offers hardcore action from a female point of view.
“I look at [hardcore] as a film genre like any other,” Paige said, adding that she finds "softcore fluff to be boring” and wants to break the stereotype that women aren’t interested in hardcore porn.
“I'm of the belief that if it's not something I would be turned on by, then it's a waste of my time making it," she said.
Rockstarz said he agrees that good porn is built on straight-ahead sex, but said the best porn goes beyond cookie-cutter gonzo scenes.
“I like hot chicks who do the nastiest hardcore action, but it’s the storylines and action in films by Nic Andrews and Jules Jordan that really showcase the talents of today’s hot adult performers,” he said.
“F.I.L.T.H. Hunters” stars Mandy Taylor, Hailey Young, Barrett Blade, Violet Blue and Tyler Durden as suburbanites who are bored with their 9-to-5 lifestyles and with their partners and find new ways to spice up their lives.
Rockstarz founded Rockstarz Films in 2004, at first producing low-budget gonzo films. He said he became inspired by adult feature films that highlighted good acting and slick production value, so he decided to raise the bar a notch by adding mainstream flairs such as driving storylines similar to those of 1970s.
“F.I.L.T.H. Hunters” is slated for release Sept. 30. A trailer can be seen at RockstarzFilms.com.
