Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart Plugs Jimmyjane Vibrator in Music Video

NEW YORK — High-end adult toy manufacturer Jimmyjane has tapped Eurythmics front man Dave Stewart’s new concept brand to help promote a line of vibrators through music and video.

Billed as “a multifaceted fusion of design, sex and music,” the collaboration has yielded a music video for a song called “Let’s Do It Again,” which Stewart recorded exclusively for Jimmyjane.

The video will be available for download with a special code included with each vibrator, which go on sale Nov. 18 at Jimmyjane.com and at Stewart-owned Coco de Mer erotic boutiques in Los Angeles and London.

The first launch serves as the promotional vehicle for two special editions of Jimmyjane’s Little Something line of metal vibrators. Both styles are “adorned with the handwritten chorus of Stewart’s song — the effect is that of a semi-lucid love note, scrawled around the circumference of the vibrator,” according to a statement.

“Sex has been at the very heart of rock ‘n roll from the minute Elvis gyrated his pelvis,” Stewart said. “Rock Fabulous is a brand I created for all of us who love the rock lifestyle but are still discerning enough to want the very best, whether its clothes, alcohol, music or vibrators.”

Ethan Imboden, a designer who previously worked with a range of brands, including Nike, Ford and Motorola, founded Jimmyjane in 2003.
