PriveCo Pays $1M for Vibrators.com Domain

CYBERSPACE — The PriveCo company has paid $1 million for the domain Vibrators.com.

PriveCo's sites include portals for sex toys and love aids, as well as some health products. The company's first site was ShopInPrivate.com, started in 1998. PriveCo now ships more than 1,500 packages per week.

The move is actually a technicality, seeing as how PriveCo has been promoting Vibrators.com under its banner since 2002, but in that time, PriveCo was only leasing the web space from an individual owner.

According to PriveCo President Tom Nardone, his company decided to finally buy the domain outright because it's instantly recognizable and a typical privacy-centric product that PriveCo likes to promote. Nardone paid $200,000 as a down payment and will pay out the remaining $800,000, plus some interest, over time.

PriveCo's roster of sites includes ShopInPrivate.com, Bachelorette.com, RomanticGifts.com, EnemaSupply.com, BacheloretteParties.com, MinoxidilShop.com, SexToyParty.com, PrivateWay.com, BacheloretteParty.com, LoveHurts.com, EnemaEquipment.com
