The three-day expo will feature vendor booths displaying fetish clothing, adult toys, erotica, art, jewelry and smoking accessories. Exotica 4 will mark the official debuts of latex couture designer Frenchy LaRue and fetishwear designer Hilary's Vanity. Designers Ego Assassin, Ceres Moon, House of Bias, Leather Realm, NooMoon, Grey Gargoyle, Exquisite Restraint Corsets and Girdlebound will be featured in fashion shows.
Workshops are presented each day, on subjects ranging from Whip Play to Rope Suspension, by experts including photographers Steve Diet Goedde and Larry Bradby. BDSM educators Nawa G and Lil J, Charley B, Sir Gary, Sir Rick, Lynne Grant and Lady Cocoa. Don Sir, Mr. Long Beach Leather 2007, will host three workshops on erotic and BDSM related subjects.
Therapist Andrea Adams-Miller and professional dominatrix and educator Aradia Ardor will host workshops on the science and philosophy of sex and erotic play. For those who prefer to play — or want to practice what they learned in the workshops — a 1,000-square-foot public dungeon play area will also be available to Exotica guests all day long.
Featured guests include Angela Ryan, Mistress Persephone, Perry Gallagher, Noir Halo, Vivian Ireene Pierce, Nicotine, London Shadows, Evelyn Rose and We Are Latex. Former Exotica hostess Emily Marilyn will return to host the VIP Room, joined by Ruby Luster.
Four rooms with different DJs playing simultaneously will entertain guests at Saturday night's Exotica Skin Two Ball. Performing acts include Vena's Evil Dolls, Chaos Productions, Pain Tribe, Miss Pussy Kat from "America's Got Talent" and Acid Rain. Exotica's lineup of dance DJs will be joined by guest DJs Stitch from Mushroomhead, Curse Mackey from My Life With The Thrill Kill Cult and Pigface and Xris Smack. The VIP Lounge upstairs will offer a separate roster of acts and a play area.
Local media and newspapers are expected to cover the event before and after, as well as international fetish media including Skin Two, Marquis magazine and Morphine magazine.
The Auburn Hills Marriott will be the host hotel, offering Exotica guests a discount off room rates and a complimentary shuttle bus between all event venues throughout the day and night.
Guests should note that Exotica is a pansexual event that promotes tolerance and acceptance of all lifestyles. Except for approved media, no cameras are allowed during the nighttime events, and only in limited areas during the daytime.
