Successfully raising $4,560 from more than 900 attendees, fundraiser beneficiary Being Alive said the event, thanks to Titan, raised $1,000 more than last year.
DVD donations came exclusivey from the TitanMen collection of the company’s portfolio of gay porn titles.
Being Alive is a nonprofit membership organization created and operated by and for people living with HIV/AIDS. All proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the grand opening of the Being Alive Silver Lake Service Center on Sunday, Sept. 18 from 3-6 p.m.
“As I'm sure you know, government resources for HIV/AIDS are shrinking all the time which means that your contributions are all the more critical,” Staying Alive’s Executive Director Demetri Moshoyannis said.
The Faultline, named after the 1994 Northridge earthquake, is one of Los Angeles's most popular leather/Levi bars serving and supporting the gay community for more than 10 years. The bar was formerly known as the Stud and before that Griff’s.
