GotWebHost Markets Shared IP SEO Web Hosting Plans

VALPARAISO, Ind. — GotWebHost is marketing shared IP SEO web hosting plans to enable webmasters to consolidate hosts and lower costs.

“The reason it’s called SEO web hosting is because we provide service that’s convenient to people who have large networks of sites that are interlinked,” Lloyd Brown, director of business development at GotWebHost.com, told XBIZ.

While dedicated IPs on virtual hosts may still be preferred, the new plans are cheaper and by giving “the impression that you’re hosted in many places,” allows webmasters to avoid Google’s host crowding penalties.

“If multiple results come from the same Web host, then only the first two are returned,” Brown told XBIZ.

The new plans are offered in the 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 Class C IP ranges, and provide two IP's per Class C. GotWebHost is offering a free, one-hour SEO consultation.

GotWebHost also make a 'knowledgebase' available to users free of charge at SEO.GotWebHost.com. Updated daily with articles and Flash-based tutorials, it covers subjects such as DirectAdmin, WordPress, phpMyAdmin and most popular FTP and email programs. SEO articles range from optimizing sites for image search and the duplicate content penalty to SEO for press releases.

“In today's economy we felt the time was right to introduce more affordable SEO hosting plans to appease those that are feeling the crunch of the current recession," said Tanya Martin, director of Internet marketing at GotWebHost.
