EGPA Web Awards Winners Announced

BERLIN — EGPA Ltd. has announced the winners of its inaugural EGPA Web Awards, which were based completely on a public vote that took place at EGPA’s website between July and September.

“When we launched the EGPA Web Awards earlier this year, we really had no idea how it would develop,” EGPA CEO Marc Cram said. “For example, would anyone actually dare nominate their own website for such public scrutiny? What’s more, would the gay public be taken with the idea enough to actually bother to visit our site and vote for their favorites? The concept is now well-established, and we feel quite sure that we can develop the idea (in conjunction with our studio awards) into the sort of spectacular occasion that we believe that gay porn — and in particular European gay porn — truly deserves.”

EGPA Ltd. is looking for corporate sponsors of its 2009 event, which will feature both studio and internet material and is due to take place in Amsterdam on May 16.
