For the occasion, Washington firefighters will be signing their 2009 calendar Saturday from noon to 5 p.m., with proceeds benefiting the WSCFF Burn Foundation. Certificates with value of up to $200 will be raffled off tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the same time Saturday.
There also will be educational seminars, free product samples, giveaways, huge door- buster specials and refreshments, Peekay announced.
Peekay was founded in Washington in 1980 by Phyllis Heppenstall and her daughter Kris Butt. Since opening their first retail store in 1981, the company has grown to 300 employees in 20 stores in Washington state. It expanded to 13 locations in California under the names A Touch of Romance and Condom Revolution.
The newest store is at 4179 Meridian St., Bellingham, Wash.
