‘World of Men’ Firms Up Distro Details

MIAMI BEACH — Gay adult studio Collin O’Neal Productions has firmed up distro details for its globetrotting “World of Men” series and brought all aspects of marketing and distribution in-house.

Additionally, a sales exec position — held since last April by Scott Boardman — has been eliminated.

Company president Collin O’Neal said the studio has now successfully transitioned from a distro deal with Raging Stallion Studios to self-distribution.

Porn biz mentors such as Titan Media VP Keith Webb advised O’Neal to operate as “a cash-only business,” he said.

However, “I did not want to extend credit, but many retailers insisted on it. I decided to extend credit only to retailers I met and spoke with in person and I am very proud that those retailers have kept their word. This has also proven that my product is unique and desirable.”

The company’s decision to release one DVD quarterly, rather than multiple titles per month, “fits with the needs of the current DVD retail market,” he said.

There are currently nine installments in the “World of Men” series. Recent entries include “Serbia” featuring Robert Brankov, Roman Ragazzi and Julian Vincenzo; and “Edinburgh” with Fred Colcci, Jasper Emerald and Ryan Garcia.

Films may be purchased via their studio website. Wholesale-retail inquiries may be made to O’Neal at Collin@collinoneal.bizor to Rich Richards at Rich@collinoneal.biz.
