Michael Lucas' Gigolo

This year’s Lucas Entertainment epic focuses on the happier things in life: prostitution, death and revenge.

Directors Michael Lucas (also the main character) and Tony Dimarco (whose script is quite good) continue to push envelopes with each successive film they make. This one is no exception. In “Gigolo,” we discover Lucas dead, possibly murdered. We later discover that Lucas was a former hustler, thrown back into the seedy world after the death of his boyfriend.

Through flashbacks, we meet an interesting array of characters — the most interesting is pimp Ray Star, whose bitchy delivery and dark, good looks, make him a standout. His performance is quite entertaining.

The sex scenes are fine: Lucas’ pairing with Jason Ridge has plenty of heat, but my favorite scene features new call boy Zack Randall and his client Arpad Miklos. Their scene is incendiary and, in my opinion, one of the best of the year. The uncut Hungarian fucks Randall mercilessly. By the end of the scene, both are drenched in sweat. I think Randall probably even found religion.

“Gigolo” is an intriguing tale with interesting characters and visually, it’s quite stunning.

I can’t wait to see what Lucas and Dimarco will think up next.
